Y6 Trip to Bolling Hall
October 1, 2021 @ 9:30 am - 3:00 pm£3
Dear parents and carers,
After more than a year of ‘different’, we are very excited about the fact that we are able to head out on trips again! As part of our topic work for this term, we will be going on a local visit to Bolling Hall Museum. This visit aims to deliver several objectives from our curriculum, including history and geography, as well as supporting our artwork.
The visit will take place during the school day on Friday, 1st October and will cost £3 per pupil – this is only to cover the cost of the workshop facilitated by Bradford Council. This can be paid in cash or via ParentPay.
The visit will include a tour of the house and including a workshop about a ghost story linked to our work on the English Civil War. The other part of our visit will include some geography fieldwork in the park and on the walk to and from the museum, as well as taking some photographs of the hall to support our art work.
The visit will take place within normal school times and so there will be no need to arrive at school early or be collected late. Pupils will need to bring a packed lunch on that day. If your child is entitled to Free School Meals and you would like a packed lunch provided by school, please indicate on the slip below.
Please cut off and return the slip on the letter sent home, confirming that you have received this information and indicating if you need a packed lunch provided by school if your child is entitled to Free School Meals.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact your child’s class teacher.
